Tracy Gantlin-Monroy, MDiv, LPC, affectionately called TG, is a Licensed Professional Counselor\/Psychotherapist, IFS (Internal Family Systems) trained, SE (Somatic Experiencing) trained, and a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner\/Consultant\/Trainer located in Atlanta, GA.<\/p>\n
Tracy is the first, Black female Brainspotting trainer in the world. She works from a somatic, brain-wise orientation recognizing the importance of brain\/body work for the healing of trauma<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tracy is a fierce proponent of social justice, soul care, mental health, and behavioral health and is dedicated to not only treating\/providing care\/support to public figures, helping professionals, athletes, individuals, couples, adolescents, young adults, family systems, and groups but also psycho-educating them about the issues affecting their quality of life<\/a>.<\/p>\n Along with training Brainspotting Phase 1 and Brainspotting Phase 2, she developed the training Brainspotting: Intersectionality & Social Justice.<\/p>\n Tracy is the midwife to the BIPOC Brainspotting community. She is the host and creator of \u201cUnBound Black Women Healing Retreat\u201d in Cancun, Mexico in 2023 (July 20-24). The retreat is curated for Black-identifying women to include Biracial women of Black descent.<\/p>\n Tracy serves a diversified caseload comprised of Blacks, Whites, and Hispanics predominantly, with an equal amount of marginalized and dominant cultured clients alike to include LGBT-friendly. 15% of Tracy\u2019s caseload is comprised of \u201chelping professionals\u201d recognizing the need to \u201cdo their work.\u201d<\/p>\n It is always fascinating to receive requests for services from counterparts and quite humbling, to say the least.<\/p>\n Tracy is adamant about the highest level of care holding space for actualization and impartation from an informed perspective while taking into account humanness.<\/p>\n Tracy recognizes interactions must be an engagement of respect, mutuality, reciprocity, love, and kindness with the awareness of we all have a process, narrative, and an innate desire to be better regardless of notoriety, socio-economic and or socio-political orientation.<\/p>\n Tracy is passionate about trauma healing, inclusion, diversity, love, social justice, and humanity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Tracy is the owner of Grace Community Counseling & Social Services, LLC<\/strong> located at See our full podcast interview below:<\/strong><\/p>\n
