Col\u00f3n, DPM, is a go-to practitioner for all conditions that affect the feet, ankles, and lower legs. Dr. Col\u00f3n cares for patients at International Medical Clinics (IMC), located in Atlanta.<\/p>\n<p>After completing his undergraduate studies in New York City at Long Island University in Brooklyn, Dr. Col\u00f3n was accepted into graduate school. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Col\u00f3n went through hospital residency training at the former Lawndale Community Hospital in Philadelphia, where he gained extensive experience in surgery of the foot, ankle, and leg. He\u2019s currently board certified through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.<\/p>\n<p>While he has special interests in bunions, plantar fasciitis, foot and ankle deformities, and heel pain, to name a few, Dr. Col\u00f3n diagnoses and treats a wide variety of common to complex ailments.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Dr. Col\u00f3n has been a trusted provider in the field of podiatry. He\u2019s spent more than 35 years lecturing on advancements in foot and ankle surgeries and has provided expert commentary for several newspaper, magazine, radio, and television interviews.<\/p>\n<p>When he\u2019s not caring for patients in the clinic, Dr. Col\u00f3n donates his time to various organizations in his community. He was a member of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is currently Chairman of the Healthcare division for the World Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Col\u00f3n has also served as the president of the Kiwanis Club of East Cobb in Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Patients of Dr. Col\u00f3n appreciate the time he spends diagnosing their conditions and educating them about all of their different treatment options.
